Declan Cody is an artist living in Wexford. He has been painting for the public since he was a teenager and has exhibited in galleries in Dublin, Cork, Berlin and New York. Cody ran the Waterfront Gallery on Paul Quay, Wexford, it is currently closed down.
His method of producing work is not disciplined but more sporadic in its process. He prefers to paint in bursts of creativity, working all day until three in the morning for three days at a time.
“I get a great kick out of the painting process and the finished product. I can stare at my own paintings for hours”.-Declan Cody
