Her use of Colour is Strong and Vibrant
Delaney uses a repertoire of imagery, elements of which reoccur at different stages throughout her work. In painting, she builds up layers and textures. Her use of colour is strong and vibrant. Her rich and sumptuous textile pieces are made from unique fabrics designed and made by the artist. Her exotic shoes in sculpture are a combination of both painting and textile skills. In all media she delves deeply into the worls of fairytale and myth. Her work is heavily imbued with symbolism at once personal and universal.
