BIOGRAPHY

Eithne Jordan was born in Dublin. She studied at Dun Laoghaire School of Art from 1972-76. She has lived for periods of time in London and Berlin (where she went initially on a DAAD scholarship) and currently divides her time between Ireland and France.

Recent solo Exhibitions include Messi in scena, (with a contribution by Nathalie Du Pasquier)m Assab One, Milan (2023), Mise en scène part I, Higblanes Gallery, Drogheda and Mise en scène part II, Crawford Art Gallery, Cork (2022), Tableau, Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane When Walking, Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2017) and numerous others nationally and internationally.

Selected Group Exhibitions include It Took a Century: Women Artists and the RHA, National Gallery of Ireland. Bodywork, Crawford Art Gallery, Cork (2023) Jordan is a member of Aosdána and the RHA. Her work is in major public and private collections in Ireland, Europe and the U.S., including Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, State Art Collection, Arts Council of Ireland, Contemporary Irish Arts Society, A.I.B., Bank of Ireland, St. Luke’s Hospital, Dublin, Dublin City Libraries, Vincent Ferguson Collection, G.P.A.
