BIOGRAPHY

Padraig Grant is a photographer born in Wexford in 1967, where he still lives and works. Grant’s photographs are concerned with people’s tenuous relationship to their place and time. Grant is a photo – journalist, a street photographer and a project photographer, and currently displays his work in his gallery in Wexford Town. Selected exhibitions include Gallery of Photography, Dublin (1990), Time Runs Out – Images from Sudan, Gallery of Photography, Dublin (1992), Somalia, Bank of Ireland, College Green, Dublin, (1994), Rwanda, Clotworthy Arts Centre, Antrim (2001), and Mexico, The Disappeared, Wexford Arts Centre (2001). He has published ten books of his work.
