BIOGRAPHY

Emma Johnston was born in Limerick in 1974 and studied at the Limerick School of Art and Design in 1996, at University College Dublin in 1998 and at University College Cork in 2002. In 2003 Johnston exhibited in 20×20, Hangzouha, Republic of China, and 2×2, Temple Bar Galleries, Dublin, in (2002), EV+A reduced, Limerick City Gallery (2001).

Awards include the Arts Council Equipment Award (1997), Go See Award (1999), and multiple awards previously from Limerick Co. Council.
