BIOGRAPHY

Sandra Turley was born in England and now lives and works in Northern Ireland. She is a textile artist specialising in installation and book art. Her work frequently addresses issues of identity, community and a sense of belonging, and is often process led and experimental in nature allowing for an instinctive resolution of ideas.

Turley was awarded the Book Art Residency at the Women’s Studio Workshop New York and her work is held in many esteemed public art collections including the County Wexford Art Collection, CAD Dublin, Yale University and the Museum of Modern Art San Francisco.
