
Kathleen Delaney
BIOGRAPHY
Kathleen Delaney is an artist who incorporates a combination of sculpture, painting and textiles. In all media she delves deeply into the worls of fairytale and myth. Her work is heavily imbued with symbolism at once personal and universal.
She holds a BA Degree (bons) from NCAD and Masters in Arts and Heritage Management (hons) from WIT.
Delaney has exhibited in a number of invited and juried exhibitions in Ireland inclusive of the RHA, The Banquet Exhibition, Jontas small works exhibition, Eigse Carlow and Aer Rianta Gateway to Arts. Her solo exhibition Soul Shrouds at the Berkeley Gallery (2010) was listed by Aidan Dune as one of the visual art highlights of the year in the Irish Times.
Delaney’s work can also be found in the collections of Wexford Co. Council, Bank of Ireland, The HSE, White’s Hotel, Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Wexford Healing Arts Trust and private collections in Ireland and abroad.
