BIOGRAPHY

Lisa Byrne is an artist and curator who lives & works in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. In her mixed media practice she uses portraiture and personal history to explore pattern, order and routine.

She is currently the Visual Art Manager at the Presentation Arts Centre Enniscorthy, where she carries out her role as Visual Art Programme coordinator and exhibition curator with the Wexford Arts Centre. Byrne studied at Gorey School of Art 2008/9 and Waterford Institute of Technology, BA (2009 – 2013).

Exhibitions include Through the Rafters, group Exhibition at The Cow House Wexford (2015), Pop up exhibition, Street Rhythms Festival Enniscorthy (2014) Art on the Rails, Group Show at St. Olafs Hall Waterford, Spraoi Festival (2014) and First View, Visual Narrative at Garter Lane Waterford (2013).
